Usually takes me about 1-2 weeks to do a fig, mostly due to scheduling (3-4hrs total spread out over 90min sessions). I pull out a handful seasonally, prep and prime them, and then paint them over the coming months. I have AQ for fantasy, SQ for sci-fi, and now a set of Marvel ones. I almost got a set of soda pop ones, but didn't want to mix and match sets. I sort of avoid that by being super restrictive of what I buy (cmon chibis, exclusively now that I think about it). I always wonder if mini painters have a “shelf of shame” backlog of things waiting to be painted. I'm comfortable doing it purely because I do playtesting, so minor disjoints in visuals are sort of OK between player card and mini, and I can fix some of that with graphic design work later to create a different experience. Depends on what you're doing with them and personal comfort level.
